DEN-EN At Metro Kyoto 5/22(Fri) 23:00- DJ AMORAL EICHI ABE Ru1 TUI AMORAL, an Amsterdam-based DJ and Eerste Communie resident, brings a sound that’s dynamic and entrancing. With a diverse range of techno to house connected by driving melodic rhythms complemented by an undulating baseline, her sets are a journey through the pulsating heart of electronic music. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant community, the electrifying energy of the dance floor, and life’s myriad experiences, AMORAL’s music transcends just entertainment. It’s a conduit for unity, a warm embrace that welcomes all into a safe haven where emotions and feelings find solace. Each performance bears a unique imprint as AMORAL’s gift lies in igniting the audience’s own personal odyssey; through her music, she invites listeners on a journey of self-discovery. EICHI ABE EICHI ABE is a Tokyo-based DJ. He launched his career in 2019, spurred by the pandemic-induced shift in how people engage with music, and made a name for himself through his involvement in the outdoor rave scene. In 2024, he appeared on Boiler Room Tokyo’s “Tohji Presents u-ha” as a member of Minna no Kimochi. He subsequently focused on his solo career and embarked on his first solo overseas tour at the end of that year. He visited three Chinese cities—including the now-defunct LOOPY in Hangzhou, as well as OIL in Shenzhen and PILLBOX in Beijing—and forged deep connections with the local underground scenes. In May 2025, he realized a tour across three cities—Saigon, Hanoi, and Seoul—in collaboration with Jun Inagawa. He continues to expand his activities throughout Asia. EICHI’s DJ sets transcend mere mastery of track selection; they are ritualistic celebrations of sound and the body. While seamlessly weaving together diverse electronic music, he shakes the audience’s senses and bodies to their core. The sense of unity born from the interplay of intense beats, heavy synths, intoxicating melodies, and chaotic noise delivers moments of pure ecstasy to the audience. Ru1 A DJ based in Kyoto. In the summer of 2025, he launched his first self-organized party, “Phos,” at Kyoto Metro, exploring a new floor experience where music and visuals intertwine. Centered on Hypnotic / Deep / Ambient Techno, he delivers mixes that incorporate a trance-like sensibility. Through repetition, fluctuation, and floating rhythms, he creates an immersive floor experience that blurs the sense of time. TUI A techno DJ and producer based in Kyoto. Drawing inspiration from classical music, he crafts deep grooves that feel like chemical reactions. As a DJ, he has been active on the global underground scene, performing in Brussels, Milan, and Saarbrücken in the summer of 2025, and in Shanghai that fall. At “DEN-EN,” an event he organizes, he collaborates with key figures in the techno scene—including ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, Takaaki Itoh, DJ SHUFFLEMASTER, Olivia Mendez, DJ TOOL, and DJ Maria—to explore the potential of techno in Japan.
